| Boy now I’ve been told a lot of words of wisdom but a bunch involved a string of curse words. But I’ve learned from about every one of them truth be told.
Some G rated ones:
“Somebody’s always watching” - A lesson in firing things right the first time and trying to do as good as a job as you can.
“Don’t plow faster than your tuh-baccer (tobacco) can stand” - A lesson first about cultivating tobacco plants, and my grandpas version of “don’t count your eggs before they hatch” type saying.
As a side note I saw Von post this on time that I really like and relates to me. “It’s not about doing 1 thing 100% better it’s about doing 100 things 1% better” | |
