From what I've been told (no personal experience) the cost to create and certifie
a piece of mitigatable wet land if fairly expensive.
Depending on acres, you might be ahead to find an established wet land midigation
spot.
NRCS should be able to point you in the right direction.
If you decide to use that "back corner". That's it. Your land will be saddled with it.
If you decide to sell it off or give it away, you'll have to provide access.
Paying taxes on a piece of ground with out return, nor control is not
