Seems like around here people raise an eyebrow at neighbors planting if conditions are less than perfect. Didn’t know how it was other places.
We just got started on NH3 last week and gonna try to plant some corn tomorrow before rain Wednesday. I know we gonna get criticized for not waiting long enough after the nh3 and for planting right ahead of rain and cooler temps. We are late this spring and have gobs of work to do. Got to make hay when the sun shines as they say.
Some people wait forever for perfect conditions that never come and then mud it in late.
Dads motto is plant early and often. I’m beginning to think same way over time.
Maybe we doing this whole thing wrong and need to buy three planters and run em all night and get it all done in the perfect 4 days.......
So does everybody deal with this or is it just locally here. Just curious | |
