Should have phrased that differently:
Preferred vet is busy. As in overbooked, as in you walk in they say go away, unless it is an emergency. Then it's a little different, depending on the case. The calf wasn't an emergency.
Closest vet has the $2500 charge. They also charge 150 for a bottle of penicillin.
