You say you only need a 1/4"? What do you have for a floor under the cabinets? Could you get in there with a router , and carve out the 1/4"? Assuming the legs on the washer aren't sitting flush with the bottom of washer frame, you'd only have to take out a bit where the actual feet are, not the entire floor surface.
