Little River, TX | What is your opinion the Garmin people saying the Sirf Chipset is more accurate than WAAS?
I can testify that a 2 year old Nuvi 200 can be 600 feet in error. It has difficulty finding the correct way out of a parking lot, and is just as happy on the access road as on the outside lane of an Interstate.

All of our units are now using the Sirf Chipset. We have discontinued units which are using WAAS.
The units would be the Nuvi 300 series and The NUVI 600 series. Also, the StreetPilot Series.
All of our Current models are using Sirf, instead. The Sirf chipset works more accurate than WAAS.
