Subject: RE: Fertilizer how much is to much

Cedar Bluff, AL
2" inches under the suface. I try to plant cotton anywhere from 1/2" to 3/4" of an inch deep. Just enough to get the seed covered. So technically the fertilizer would be placed 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" inches below the seed. So from reading these threads I will cut back to a 100# lbs of DAP and 100# lbs of MOP for a total of 200#lbs of material period. And try and place the fertilizer a little deeper. That should give me 18#lbs of N and 60lbs# of K. Thanks for all the feedback.
