I probably shouldn't reply, because I don't know a thing about cotton.  But I can tell ya.... that would be way too much for a corn seed to endure.  

I don't like to see much more than about 40 to 45 pounds combined of nitrogen and potassium in a 2x2 location.  If I did the math right... you've got 117 pounds.  Way too much in my book.  But maybe cotton is different.
