Subject: RE: Creating guidance lines before planting

Fountain County
My 6000 acre friend has been at it a while. They use all Deere stuff. He has tried many lines and has come up with the “BEST fill lines for each field. He has gotten to where he draws them on the computer. Has all of the, saved and each year he takes the time to drive them with his Polaris ranger to make sure they are still what he wants. He does this also to confirm every field boundary as they purchase little pieces slowly and incorporate that into their existing field or clean up the field edge or rebuild a waterway or anything of the sort. He sometimes does, create a new line with the ranger because sometimes being in the field is better than just a compute screen.

You’re on the right track. Go out and dry run them to get them planned. Next step might be software if you desire.
