Northwest Iowa | After church yesterday we went to Golden Corral at casa grande. I wanted butter for my bread. I noticed only buttery spreads. I ask a worker where the butter was. He tried to convince me margarine was butter. He didn’t get far with that. I read the label to him and he still said it was the same as butter. I talked to another and same story. I wanted to talk to a manager but couldn’t find one. One of the spreads was made by land o lakes. We are an ex dairy farm family and we like butter. I sold milk to land o lakes and I am surprised they make margarine. The dairy farms are in trouble now and ignorance and attitudes like this don’t help. | |
