Anamoose, ND | Any ideas how to go about attaching a pergola to this house? I was thinking of some sort of bracket or a 2x6 attached to the underside of soffit for joicees to attach to. Maybe I need to find a different way to do this. We like the deck on our house but it faces the south and we live on a hill with no protection. It is terribly hot in the summer and a pergola with side screens would offer some wind protection.
