runningbehind - 3/16/2019 19:07 When we moved the king sized matress folded in half and I put a couple tie downs around it. Very easy to move and would go places a full size would.
Really? Hmmmm has anyone else been able to do this?
Yes, Most all the king size matt's should be able to be folded in half. Check with the manufacture first. Generally, on the side or ends, the wire that goes around the matt for support will be hinged at the halfway point. Again, check with Manufacturer, they do this as they know it may need to be halved to get it delivered. Back when I was in that line of work, it was very common to have to fold a 6/6 matt and tie it up to get it upstairs. Generally easier delivery then a Queen size. Also, if a 5/0 fits now, I doubt you'd have to fold in half and tire up, should be able to bend in place as moving it to get it delivered.
ETA: Oh, if the wire isn't hinged, if it does get bent, it's not the end of the world . . . . just bend it back. It may not be perfect, but it will not hamper use of the Matt.
