I've seen different versions of that and I think it's kind of silly. Obviously the concentration of people is the biggest factor. On a per person basis farmers have huge carbon footprints vs avg. Buuuuut, we are providing an essential service as efficiently as possible. If everyone tried to grow their own food it would be MUCH worse environmentally.
