South Central MN | Yeah, those pins do get to be a pain at times. We keep a jar full of replacements. We tend to run them down to the hub at times. Dad went and slathered that silver anti-sieze goop all over the disc vertical and horizontal adjustment shafts at one point. I hate that stuff because it gets everywhere and never comes off. However, it did really cut back on rusting and even though it has long worn off, we rarely have issues with shafts seizing like we did when we first got it.
To us, the benefits of high tunnels far outweigh the one negative. | |
