North Central Kansas
I'm surprised to hear than any tillage implement is used in "float". How can the depth be controlled if the cylinders are allowed to float?
I do hear of folks operating disc harrows with the tires raised up off the ground which, in my opinion, is a bad idea as it can cause ridging problems since depth is not being controlled.
