NE, NE | It’s been pretty crappy weather here, but ive found 2 calves this week what I assume born dead. I try to check every 2-3 hrs (one man band). What I is stumping me is both calves eyes are all white no color. 1st one was kind of on the mud so wrote that off as PPM on my part and the second one was on perfect bedding behind a windbreak and probably 32 degrees. Each one was from Separate herds 4 miles apart and different diets. Have I just not noticed white eyes in the past on dead calves or is something going on? I’ve had perfectly fine ones in between. | |
