Subject: RE: Thieves after death

“These are the times that try men's souls.”
Best thing people can do is set up with your churches in the area or whatever groups are willing to help to protect homes and farmsteads of all family members listed in obituaries in newspaper. It's being done here, They assign people to everyone's homes to watch during funerals. It happened at my wife's uncles funeral in big city. However he had a security system he had just bought for his wife as he knew he wasn't going to live long. Well they broke into garage, it set off alarm, police on the way. One of his grandson's was a cop, He jumped up in service and out the door he went, his pager or something went off. He knew the address. They got their in record time, but the thieves were gone. When alarm went off on first door they broke, they ran and took off. So they only had to replace the one door.

This is why a lot of obituaries in this area are not listing all relativities in obituary because thieves are keying off them.
