NEMO | Sometimes after a traumatic experience, it can take some time to forget "that hurt", and switch over to the "joy" of being a mom. Put them in a smallish pen, 12x20, or whatever. If she is aggressive to it (shouldn't be), move the calf out , but just across the gate where say see each other. You may have to put her in the chute 2x a day for awhile, or tomorrow she may want it. Just keep at it patiently, the calf will wear her down in a few days. Looks like a really nice,strong calf, so that helps immensely. | |
