NC Kansas | if she continues to fight you...right there while you got the calf latched on, give her a dose of rompun... wait a few minutes then let her out. She'll be woozy and likely stand there and let calf suck, she may need to lay down. When she "wakes up" she'll likely be more accepting of calf. Had a stubborn older cow we grafted an orphan on last year and it took to different shots to get her to take the orphan.
