southern MN		House wires need to carry a low voltage and high amps.

A fencer wire needs to carry very high voltage and low amps.

The insulation on household wiring basically looks like a soaker hose to the fencer, the insulation is not designed to hold in the high voltage.

You need better wire, with insulation designed for the high voltage.
