Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I had to take a helicopter ride for a heart problem a couple of years ago. I was on Medicare and had a low end supplement. I was afraid that the helicopter ride wouldn't be covered but figured that was the risk I took rather than opting for a high end supplement. I was very pleasantly surprised as the insurance covered most all of it.
Maybe I just got lucky. Maybe it wouldn't have worked out so well if the ride was due to an accident. That plan was with Blue Cross and has been dropped. I'm not really sure where I'm at with the new Blue Cross plan.
