Got crushed between the steering wheel of a 3020 and a dead ash tree three years ago. Ambulance ride to hospital in Sandusky, then a helicopter ride to Saginaw. About 50 miles. Cost $50,000+ and our health insurance did not cover it. Fortunately, my wife opted for an AFLAC policy on top of our primary about a month before I got thumped. We would still be paying for that helicopter ride.
