Is there a modified live Mycoplasma vaccine?

Maybe you are asking about virus vaccines like IBR, BVD etc.

If you can work them into your management, MLV is the way to go. Occasionally you get some depression, but it's rare to have actual disease following the MLV.

Killed are convenient, can be safely used on the brood cow herd and nursing calves most any time, but require booster doses and tend to be "rougher" on the cattle because of the adjuvant and pyrogen levels of many products. For sure administer them in the approved injection sites!
