There’s nothing magical about being an AI sire. I’ve visited bull studs and left being glad that I was collecting my own bulls for future use, even after seeing a $300,000 bull and some other high dollar bulls. If you can pick a good maternal bull you will be fine, if you can’t then you won’t, it’s not going to be about money, just how good your eye is.
