Cedar Rapids, Iowa
We sometimes start throwing around technical terms.

The Pro 600 can accept GPS position data in two protocols (think of them as languages), NMEA and TSIP. The JD iTC receivers can send GPS position data in their own proprietary protocol, and optionally in NMEA if the receiver is on SF2 or above.

The only common ground is to have both devices using the NMEA protocol. An iTC receiver on SF1 isn't an option for you, since it won't do NMEA.

NMEA is pretty much the world standard format for GPS position data. Some manufacturers have various reasons for using different protocols.
