Will it be worth doing......depends on your cost to grind it........I would say yes it will.


For cattle - - - - you don't really want to grind it into a powder - - - - lots easier to get feeding problems that way.
All you need in coarsely cracked.

I run my stuff through a roller mill with the rolls set also 1/8" apart.


Flour is fine if it is mixed in a ration that can not be separated out. Rolled for the dairy didn't work well because the cows had all day to shake out the rolled barley as eat it first. Grind it up into flour and they can't sort it out. Problem solved.
