Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | I asked my feed guy about how to tell if the kernel was fully utilized. He suggested to gather a few whole looking kernels that had made the digestive trip and cut them in half. If the inside is still white, probably not getting all of it. He also suggested that if they looked pretty dingy they might need further testing.... He said well digested kernels tasted a little sour:) Please let me know if this is true or just feed guy humor... |
