Stacey, unfortunately it's been a while since I spent much time in the Cedar Rapids area, really need to make a weekend trip over there one of these days.  The Lost Cuban is one that I've seen talked about and intrigues me.  I generally avoid chain restaurants on a road trip, but Granite City Brewing has excellent food and a variety that I think anybody could find something good to fit their taste.  And you'd probably have to do the legwork searching Yelp or whatever for yourself, but I know there are a lot of neat places in the New Bo City/ Czech Village areas that are doing stuff like gastropub or ethnic specialties.
