Central Iowa | I have fixed similar sounding problem on a few setups. If you open AP Toolbox, click on Tools, then select Advanced Configuration. Another dialog box opens up, and there are two fields: Name and Value. Type dzl into the Name field, and then click on the Get button. The Dead Zone Left value from the config file will populate the Value field. Write this number down so you can put it back in case this doesn't fix the problem. Highlight the value field, and increase the number by about three (i.e. from 32.00000 to 35) and click on the Set button. Then type dzr into the Name field and click on the Get button. Increase that value by the same amount and click on the Set button. You should be able to see a difference right away. Play around changing the dzl and dzr values until it smooths out. Again, if this does not affect the problem, return the dzl and dzr value back to the original one recorded, and call a different Trimble dealer and pay for some good service. | |
