Subject: The Great “Unknown.”

“As of 1/3/19... 3.4 mmts..”

Also as of 1/3/19.. “unknown” was 3.98 mmts.

How much.. if any was China? If 2.? mmts.. then coupled with the other reported that “could” be our 10 mmts promised.. ??

China.. or someone.. usually has used “unknown” in the past....Now the WASDE has China taking 88 mmts down from last years 94.1 mmts..

The WASDE also has Total South American exports at 93.27.. with Total South American production at 183.48 mmts.. Brazil at 117 (vs others at 112) and Paraguay at 9.5 (vs others at 7 ) etc..

Just as last year when the WASDE overestimated South American production.. Argy at 54 mmts vs 37.8 realized.

Side note..which is why South America will import 5.6 mmts.

Thus the over Estimate.. of South American production to the tune of 5 to 8 to 10 mmts.. coupled with.. as you have done.. backing out the row exports last year of.. 19.27 mmts only leaves..94.1 - 7.5 - 19.27 = 67.93 mmts available to export from South America to China.. vs 88 - 10 booked from the US = 78.. or a 10 mmts shortfall.

Keep in mind that half of the other 10 mmts we’ve sold to the row or 5.6 mmts is headed to South America... namely Argentina.

And the EU has taken an extra 3 mmts.. other Asia 1.3 as well as Mexico an extra 1 mmts..

Thus.. “it has to come from somewhere.”

And why I refer to this as a shell game.

Edit trying to get my iPad to insert paragraphs for easier reading.. part deux.
