Nebraska Panhandle | Take a good heavy hammer and give the plug a couple good wacks being carefull not to hit the casting just the plug. This works on a John Deere as there is a metal washer on the plug threads that gets froze on tight. A couple hard wacks with the hammer and they usually turn out by hand. Then replace with a new plug.
An old John Deere machanic told me this trick and it works. | |
