Subject: transmission oil plug

Ok, the square drive plug on transmission wouldn;t budge with a breaker bar and a cheater, so I put the impact on it thinking i might rattle on it a bit and get it loose. Wasn't lit enough and forgot about the impact having that snap ring deal on it to keep socket on and it didn't allow it to get as deep as it should have and you guessed it it is now stipped. There is another plug that we were able to get out, but it is slightly higher up on transmission (eaton), so i wouldn' t have to tackle this, but it is pi$$ing me off and then the kid reminded me how i always tell him to do it the right way LOL.

So, what are my options when i go at it tomorrow. I don't think there is enough to get a pipe wrench on, but do i dare weld on it??? Drill it out for a big easy out??? Might be able to get a sharp chisel on the edge????

Open to suggestions

Thanks
