All depends on previous relationships to person.
X2. A good friend of mine spent more time at the home talking to the grandfather he never had, his mentor, his friend than most of the old guy's relatives did. Considering the old guys' kids steered additional assets to him past what he was already getting in the will, I would say the kids knew how much they meant to each other and wanted to make sure he had the things that held many memories.
IMO a relationship to strive for. |
