Don't sell us short. If we have an attack on the homeland like Pearl Harbor we will rally just like then. Unfortunately that's what it will probably take to remind us that we are more alike than we care to admit these days.
Not really, it would just be yet another perfect time to "never let a good crisis go to waste" by the Federal Gvt. and they'd pass all kinds of new wonderful legislation further eroding our rights.
The last "coming together" this country had beget Homeland Security, TSA, The Patriot Act, Millions killed in dozens of countries and Trillions wasted. |
