Tandems, same as mine. But you have to remember these guys are "professionals" they should know how to get around with their rig. Our barn yard has plenty of room to get around with 53ft wagons yet the large cars always seem to struggle.


A 280 in. wheelbase Pete is 5 ft. longer than your Volvo. At times that extra length is going to make it harder to stay out of the grass. But the turning circle of a long Pete isn't as bad as you would think because of having a sharper wheel cut than most.

We have a daycab Mack at 205, and a Pete at 265. Sometimes that extra 5 ft. hurts it, but most times it doesn't bother us at all. The wheel cut is sharper on the Pete.
