I know our 379 long hood can turn on a dime compared to the Volvo we have or any other set back axle truck I've driven.
Everyone thinks a long hood is too long and cumbersome just by looking at them but in fact its just the opposite.
What length wheelbase those trucks have? Makes a huge difference.
I know for a fact I can go places with my 220" Volvo that long hood Pete's can only dream of. Mostly because of wheelbase, 220" vs 260-280" Not many long nose Pete's at 220" unless it's a day cab |
