If it was me, with such a small difference, I’d lock it in, as I see more potential for increase than decrease. Of course a huge part of the decision for me, would be how quickly I think I’m able to pay down the debt? If thinking could pay reasonable quickly, I’d lean towards the variable rate. Just how I go about deciding these things.
