Iowa | Had same talk with banker on hog building. He wasn’t really that afraid of increasing rates- given that China is having issues, and fed has tamed down talk. As a matter of fact my 15 yr note dropped 1/4% since Dec (if my notes are correct - and I may have been hedging high because it wouldn’t be done for 6 months). So banker was touting lower rates for variable, but the risk on the term wasn’t worth it to me given current cash flow. One of those bird in the hand type deals. | |
