| I just feel the next 10 years are going to be more about survival than wild profits. Maybe not this year but I feel it’s likely that the 2020’s will be looked back on as the hardest decade for agriculture in a long time. I think the mid to late teens will pale in comparison.
You guys who went through the 80’s know how bad it was and know that corn producers have felt nothing like that so far. Same with bean producers now that we have MFP.
Those who have survived the crash from $8 corn are just those who made it to level 2. Still gotta pass level 2 and level 3 to be farming 10 years from now in my opinion. If corn producers end up suffering as much as wheat producers already have, the crash from 2012 highs to now are just a walk in the park.
