| There are alot of closing systems that work. We tried mohawks dawns and Thompsons. We endended up putting the Thompsons on all row units. The mohawks work pretty good for a cheaper option though I liked them for the most part just liked the Thompsons better.
In my opinion the most important thing you can put on a notill planter is the exapta valions seed tube guards. The factory ones wear out super fast in notill and you will get varying seed depth from disk flex. The valions or rk's will last as long as a set of blades do. You can also run pop up through them if you choose to do so. | |
