NW Wisconsin | I know you asked for the southern most place in the US to see them,but if you really want to see them go to Alaska. They are really bright and colorful, but you would need to go when they have darkness & not 24 hours of daylight.
Interesting that when the Northern lights appear at the North Pole, the exact same light show is happening at the South Pole but in reverse.
Alaska is a great place to visit & everybody needs to get there once in their lifetime. | |
