Subject: RE: Northern lights....AURORA BOREALIS

just a tish NE of central ND
AURORA BOREALIS ARE also know as Northern lights. Very common here.
...Walk around in the dark with a flashlight during April while our cows are calving (checking cows at night)and you can admire them here. Some years much more than others. They are a thing of great natural beauty and mystery the same time. The presence of them is affected by a number of things such as how much moon light there is and cloud cover. Seems the colder it is the more they show up.Sometimes they are just colors in the horizens in the north and other times they appear to be pulsing and waveing colors of a greenish blue in the whole width of the northern horizion from east to west.
