Nothing wrong with older ones as long as they can be fixed/modfied easily. Biggest issue with older ones, the often don't go high enough. So it takes a lot of fabrication to make them work right.
Someone else mentioned using a bale bed to move one without wheels.
I use bale spikes to raise mine up and lower the legs. Doesn't take too much time.
