So... if I could get my retailer to do this for no charge (impregnate the fertilizer), I could justify to spend another $5-6 on fertilizer with the savings from the cost of the pre emergent chemical pass?

We do a little grazon on pasture fertilizer in the spring I really like to have at least a hundred pounds of pell lime in with it. I would not recommend the practice for a weed control chemical in a crop land situation. It does work very well to control thistles on a rough ground situation where a boom type sprayer is not workable. It sure will make a mess of your spinners and don't even think about it in a flex air machine.
