ND | Back in the day up here people were only planting 20 to 24k/ac. Now its around a avg of 33000 but 36000 does work also with a yield gain. Its funny this used to be big wheat country but wheat just does not yield consistently & after so many years of doing it & corn for the same fertilizer rate does so much better. If wheat could avg 80 to 100 bu/ac all the time but some years there is a 35bu yield. | |
