SouthEast Iowa | I usually plant maybe 10 hills of different varieties. Red Pontiac, red norland, Yukon gold, kennebec, blue Adirondack, and purple majesty were what I planted last year. All of them taste better grown in the garden. We eat most of them as new potatoes. Cook them, little bit of butter on them. Yukons and red pontiacs are our favorites. We use any kind for whatever we are making. | |
