North Central Illinois | The 263 and 291 are both very good engines. I would caution though that if one plans to work them hard you need to run the highest octane gas you can find. The newer lower octane gas has been hard on those engines if they are really worked hard. I know of a couple of those that have burned several pistons while grinding feed. Most people don't work those engines that hard anymore so it probably isn't a big concern. | |
