| An 8010 is capable of supporting a 12 row corn head and if you do hang a six row on it you might have to slow down the flow by retarding the vanes, changing sieves, and changing concaves. My combines previous life had a 12 head and when I went to an eight row a dealer suggested different modifications. As yields increase it may not be as important but a few years ago it made sense. If you irrigate and always run in a high yield environment you would have fewer issues keeping the combine full. | |
