Subject: EZ Steer 500 on 8410 Steering column

NEKS
Installed the correct bracket yesterday on an 8410 with 5200 hours on it. The motor really torques the plastic steering column. When the motor changes directions, it moves back and forth 3/4 of an inch. It is installed per the directions, but I am afraid it is going to break the column. The plastic around the column seems loose, but I have never been around one of these. Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is normal, or is something broke on the column to begin with? Thanks for the help.

Ben
