Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Big brother - 1/31/2019 18:14    I got more bolts to replace rivets hope they work

I doubt that will work.

I've used old style factory JD seed tube opener guards and tried small bolts (front and back) on a JD 7200 MaxEmerge units. The front bolts were able to "squeeze together" the steel framework , but the front bolt and nut (up front) were still too wide. I could grind some front bolts/nuts and got a few to "not rub" , but most row units, I went back to a roll pin in the front holes. (still used bolt and nut, on Rear hole)

Now, with these long-life seed tube protectors , they have those 2 spacers that hold the 2 steel halves, outward, so that will make clearance issues even worse. (remember, I was even squeezing my 2 halves, together and still had issues with small bolt and nut, in the Front hole.)
